Hoy quiero presentaros el trabajo de esta artista mexicana que diseña joyas realmente bonitas y originales. Acaba de inaugurar una exposición en México (Medellin 174, Col. Roma) con el título de Joyería Híbrida. ¡Como me gustaría visitarla! Pero me queda un poco lejos.....

Para los que esteis en el D.F. podreis visitarla del 13 al 27 de Agosto.

Son Joyas Híbridas en las que se investiga con distintos materiales como: plata, oro, plástico, cemento, piedra y barro creando pequeños collages tridimensionales en cada pieza.

Today, I want you to know this Mexican artist who designs beautiful and original jewelry. She has just presented an exhibition in Mexico D.F. (Medellin 174, Col. Roma) called Hibrid Jewelry.

In her work, she uses different materials such as: gold, silver, cement, stone, clay creating small tridimensional collages in each piece of jewelry.

Unión Perfecta

Me encanta la combinación del cuero las perlas y la plata, a mi modo de ver, la mezcla de estes tres materiales es una unión perfecta para crear joyas que puedan combinar con cualquier casual outfit, siempre aportándole ese toque de elegancia que le confieren las perlas. ¿Qué os parece esta combinación? ¿Os gusta?.

Os invito a visitar esta preciosa villa marinera situada en el municipio de Poio, Pontevedra.
Es un precioso pueblo situado a la orilla del mar declarado conjunto histórico artístico en 1972.Cara al mar, se reserva un espacio presidido por los hórreos. Se cuentan unos treinta, formando uno de los mayores conjuntos de Galicia con la singularidad además de su ubicación costera.
Si visitais Galicia, sobre todo en esta época del año, os va a encantar!!!

O Monte da Guia

El otro día fuimos al mirador del monte da guia, la verdad es que la visita vale la pena, el templo es muy bonito y las vistas de la ciudad y la ria de Vigo inmejorales.

El proyecto del templo, de Manuel Gómez Román data de 1951, sin embargo, la idea de levantar una iglesia en la cima del monte de la Guía, dedicada al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, no era nueva. Ya en 1930, Antonio Palacios Ramilo había contemplado la posibilidad de la construcción de un gran edificio en el mismo sitio, a semejanza de las iglesias de Veracruz en O Carballiño y del templo Votivo de Panxón.

The other day, we went sightseeing to La Guia, the truth is that the place is worth seeing, the temple is nice and the views of the city and bay of Vigo are breathtaking.

The project by Manuel Gómez Román is from 1951, however, the idea of building a church on the top of the mountain devoted to Sacred heart of Jesus, wasn't new.

In 1930, Antonio Palacios Ramilo had already thought of the possibility of construction of a great building in the same place, like other churches, such as: Veracruz in O Carballiño and The Temple of Panxón.
