Signos Misteriosos / Mysterious Signs

Hace algún tiempo oímos hablar de una piedra que tenía grabados unos signos un tanto extraños. Un día decidimos ir a dar un paseo, y de paso explorar un poco para ver si la encontrábamos, no fue una tarea difícil ,y aquí está el resultado.

Some time ago, we heard of a stone which had weird carved signs. One day, we decided to go for a walk and at the same time to explore a little in order to find it. It wasn't a difficult task, and here is the result.

Hemos sacado algunas fotos donde se muestran cuatro cruces y pequeños circulos grabados en el piedra que aparentemente no siguen ningún patrón.

Indagando un poco, alguna gente dice que pueden ser marcas para indicar el límite del territorio, sin embargo, también podría ser un petroglifo. Si alguien conoce alguna piedra similar a esta, sería interesante que compartiésemos fotos y así poderlas comparar.

We took some photos where you can see four crosses and small circles carved on the stone which apparently don't follow any pattern.

Looking into the matter a little bit , some people said that those signs may be marks to indicate the border of a territory, however, they may also be a petroglyph. If anybody knows any similar stone, it would be interesting to share photos in order to compare them.

¿Que es White Sarabela? / What is White Sarabela?

Sarabela es la palabra en gallego que significa "granizo", para mi, esta palabra simboliza un acontecimiento repentino, pues es un fenómeno atmosférico y se presenta sin avisar, como la idea de iniciar este blog.

El granizo se presenta como pequeñas piedras de hielo "duras" y simboliza la rudeza del clima gallego (antaño mucho más) y que en cierta manera, marca el caracter de los gallegos.

Este blog pretende ser una" Sarabela" de ideas, una "Sarabela "de pensamientos, de trabajos, de fotos y como no, también una sarabela de vuestros comentarios.

¿Por qué blanco? el blanco es un color sin matices, desde siempre ha simbolizado la transparencia, la claridad , la pureza y para mi, también es calma y tranquilidad...

Finalmente, he querido mezclar los dos idiomas porque el gallego simboliza mis origenes, es el idioma de toda mi familia y de mis antepasados, y el inglés simboliza lo nuevo, una aptitud adquirida y es la herramienta de mi trabajo.

Sarabela is a galician word which stands for "hail". For me, this word symbolizes a sudden fact, since, it is an atmospheric phenomenon and it appears without warning, as the idea of starting this blog.

Hail appears as small ice stones which are "hard" and they symbolize the roughness of galician climate (some time ago rougher) and this marks somehow galician people's character.

This blog intends to be a "Sarabela" of ideas, a"Sarabela of thoughts", of works hand-made by me, of pictures and certainly, it also intends to be a "Sarabela "of your comments.

Why white? White is a colour without hues, it has always symbolized transparency, clearness, pureness and for me, it is also quietness...

Finally, I have mixed the two languages (English and Galician) because Galician symbolizes my origins,it is the language of my whole family and the one of my ancestors. English stands for the new, an adquired aptitude,and it is the tool of my work.
